am i the only one who thinks these are pretty fabulous? maybe a little too ‘sandal’ for fall….but i’m thinking it’s possible these could look pretty great with tights?? maybe? or have i just finally been sucked into The Evil That Is The Fall 2006 Leggings Trend?
it’s entirely possible, you know….last night, as i drifted off to sleep (so give me some credit, as i was only partially conscious), i was trying to think of how to make my most comfy black skirt work for fall, and it occurred to me that it might just work with my loeffler randall talia heels and, yes, black footless tights. now, i’m not saying i’ll DO that….i’m just saying it might, maybe, possibly work.
i know, i know. i have no willpower.
I’m with you…they’re fabulous. Maybe it’s because we’re on the West Coast and fall/winter doesn’t really come around til later on? Either way…the proportion is great and patent is so very in right now.

Ugh, leggings and SWEATER DRESSES? Can we talk about how horrid those are? I was shopping at Ambiance, searching through the racks. I would find a promising looking top, pull it out and behold, a sweater dress thing. Name one person with hips who can actually wear one of those.
But the shoes are great.
LOL, skh…..yeah, i practically threw a tantrum when i saw that sweater dresses were back. no no no, i will never succumb. mostly, i was just looking for a way to wear all of my cute new summer shoes through fall….
trust me, though, i have a hunch i’ll be sticking to tights, if anything. i just can’t quite bring myself to relive the 80s.
daily, i know…i want summer shoes even in january! seriously, i get so sad when it’s too rainy for suede and open toes. i’m completely in denial 🙂
omg, you’re so in trouble…. leggings? footless tights? really? I don’t know that I can be seen in public with you… we’ll have to have this conversation: “What are you wearing” … “cute shoes”…. “great, not with leggings, right”….. “ok,ok, you’ve got me” … “well crap, NOW who will I hang out with?”
