get gifting: foodie finds

If there’s anything I love as much as shopping, it’s food. Eating out, cooking in, buying totally unnecessary specialty equipment (wait, that’s technically shopping…) – however you slice it, I have a serious culinary side. So I like to think I have a special knack when it comes to picking out gifts for the foodie on your list. Believe me when I tell you there’s not a thing on this list I wouldn’t swoon to see under my tree. Except possibly that Shun knife, but only because I already have one (trust me: it will change your life).

1. K-mix espresso machine, DeLonghi, $270 / 2. Vosges Petits Chocolats, $20 / 3. Steven Smith Tea, $15/box (save 15% with code REALSIMPLE) / 4. Tartine box set (Chronicle), $47 / 5. What Katie Ate, by Katie Quinn Davies (Studio), $22 / 6. Smitten Kitchen Cookbook, by Deb Perelman (Knopf), $20 / 7. Zagat 2013 America’s Top Restaurants, leather-bound limited edition, $19 / 8. Marble pastry slab, Crate & Barrel, $50 / 9. Ken Onion 7” chef’s santoku knife, Shun, $170 / 10. Himalayan Salt tequila glasses, $30/4 (tequila optional, but awesome) / 11. Windowsill herb holder, Roost, $50 / 12. Herb wreath, Williams-Sonoma, $50.
