signs of spring

I know, I know – I shouldn’t tease. But it’s 30 degrees outside, and as I look out my window, there’s a veil of frost over everything. I need a little light at the end of this wintry tunnel. So forgive me for seeing glimmers of springtime everywhere I look this week.

1. Double-drop earrings, Coralia Leets, $225 / 2. Parker mini colorblock bag, Diane von Furstenberg, $265 / 3.  Striped slub pullover, Pilcro, $58 / 4. Alisson tote, Christopher Kon, $455 / 5. Odile espadrille sneaker, Loeffler Randall, $195 / 6. Borrowed Shirt scarf in cotton/silk, Indigo Handloom, $75

Those polka-dotted espadrilles are just begging to be slung over my shoulder as I dip my toe into the surf. And that breezy striped scarf looks (and feels) like it’s made of all of those well worn, soft-as-silk cotton dress shirts you’re tempted to steal from your man. The moment it’s warm enough, that scarf and a white tee are going to be my BFFs all spring.

I spotted that stripey top at Anthropologie over the weekend, and immediately ruled it out, decreeing myself well-stocked on all things striped. And yet, two days later, I’m still thinking about it, which is a pretty good sign it’s a spring staple in the making.

Anything you’re already looking forward to for spring?
