spring fling: emerson fry

I can count on one hand the number of brands whose seasonal launches I genuinely wait for. The ones I hound the designer about, to see what the launch date will be, and log on first thing that morning to see what’s in store.

Yes, I can count them on one hand, and Emerson Fry is one of them. Every single season, they come up with pieces that I wouldn’t have considered, that push my boundaries just a smidge, yet that will fit into my closet so seamlessly, I can’t possibly say no. Like that cream linen tux jacket (that I’ve since seen on the adorable Emily Henderson, so I know I’m on the right track). And the leopard coat I still regret not buying from last season.

Spring launched today at Emerson Fry (a few pieces are still trickling in), and it’s every bit as good as I hoped. Were it within my power, I think I’d buy…okay, not the lot, but certainly the lion’s share. Take a look, and tell me you don’t love it as much as I do.

A-line Mod top, Geo, $265 / Keyhole Dress, Navy $425 / Keyhole Dress, Rain, $425 / Short Keyhole Dress, Green, $325 /
Mod Coat Dress, $650 & Vintage Hi-Rise Jeans, $195 / Color-block dress, $325

Spring dresses with a fresh cut that’s sure to flatter (and oh, that green!), a maxi dress I’d actually wear, the perfect high rise jeans (which I’ve been coveting for ages. Time to take the plunge). But that coat? Talk about a show-stopper. Oh, and don’t even get me started on the shoes.
