Every girl needs one, right? A gorgeous little splash of red for those days when you just need a little something to pull a dreary ensemble together. It’s a wardrobe staple if ever there was one, and a completely perfect summer-to-fall transition piece. At least, that’s what I’m telling myself. But I’m pretty sure I’m right about this…I mean, just look at these ladies:

See what I mean? And so, this is where my head’s at right now. It’s all red, structured shoulder bags as far as the eye can see. But I have criteria, of course. It wouldn’t be a full-blown covet if I wasn’t unreasonably particular. For me, the only way to go is small – you want a pop of color, not a full-blown assault. I do love a bit of structure in a red bag – it adds a dressy factor that makes things feel more polished and adult. And in this case, it’s tomato red or bust, my friends…no berry or burgundy here.

A: I know, isn’t that one a steal? Super tempted to just go for the bargain, but I’m not sure I love the suede. Do you?

I love the color on the Mango bag, but suede bags never look great for long in my experience–they rub into ugly quickly…
Meagan: Yeah, I hear you. Same thing happens over here.
