Casa SMC has been Casa Crazy this week, my friends. Work is piling up (but that’s a good thing, right?), and I’m already swimming in holiday ideas for our gift guides. Lucky thing, since Hanukkah starts in…four weeks?! No pressure. Just wait until you see what I have up my sleeve – this year’s going to be the best yet!
Besides working my un-manicured little fingers to the bone, here’s what I’ll be up to this weekend:
Debating whether I should go ahead and order this divine infinity scarf I spotted at Topshop while I was in London. It’s so not cold enough where I live for this sort of thing, but truly, it was pretty fantastic. Also crushing hard on this Geek Mash Up scarf, and it’s pretty rare that I find a bargain scarf to love. Maybe I should reward my fleeting frugality and get both.
Admiring my pretty, pretty new Rachel Comey boots. This was the last item on my fall wishlist, and I tried to be cheap about it, truly I did. But these basically threw themselves at my feet and demanded to come home with me. Ugh, why must her shoes be so gorgeous (and fit so darn perfectly) all the time? Have I converted every last one of you to the Church of Comey yet?
When I finally crash from exhaustion, binge-watching The House of Eliott, a BBC costume drama about a 1920s fashion house. It was just released on DVD, and I’m hoping it will curb some of my Downton Abbey withdrawal.
Getting excited to see Atlas Genius in concert next week. Their new CD has been on repeat at my house all month – can’t wait to catch the live show!
Admiring all the gorgeous new additions at Ariel Gordon Jewelry. That girl has talent just oozing out of her pores…I want one of everything she makes.
And, my dad’s in town, which means an Instagram of one of these can’t be far behind.
