Even though I’m trying very hard to embrace that whole “not shopping just because there’s a sale” philosophy, I’d be remiss if I didn’t at least mention a few pretty sweet sample sales happening right now.
There’s a whole mess of cute on super sale at Virginia Johnson. I’ve wanted one of her shawls for oh, I don’t know…ever. So, it’s taking some serious restraint not to indulge now that they’re 50% off. Also, who doesn’t need a sweater with a dachshund on it, I ask you?
James Perse does a pretty mean online sample sale, and they have some goodies this time around. Way too many size 0s, which is disheartening, but you could also snag this pair of shorts, which is literally my favorite piece of clothing to wear in the summer, for almost nothing. Good lord, they’re comfortable. And not unflattering, surprisingly. I’ve been deciding whether I should just buy them so I have a back-up pair, but perhaps you’ll beat me to it.
And if that’s not enough, the quarterly Vince clearance is looking pretty good right now – in particular, this sweater, which would be a nice change from all of the black and grey I’ve been buying lately. Do watch out for the final sale pieces, though…forewarned is forearmed. Or something. To wit, it’s worth perusing the Vince sale section at Nordstrom and Shopbop just in case…some of the same pieces, no final sale shenanigans.
Anything strike your fancy?
