It’s almost time, friends – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is just around the corner!! And as always, SMC is your one-stop shop for everything you need to know to score the best of the Sale.
Here’s the scoop: July 10 is the first day for Early Access (if you haven’t already, get yourself a Nordstrom card now to qualify for Early Access and get double points when you shop), and the Sale starts July 18. Nordstrom cardholders should be getting their preview catalogs via snail mail this week, but the full catalog will be available online July 7.
Longtime readers will know this is my all-time favorite sale of the year, and with good reason. Rather than marking down end-of-season merchandise, Nordstrom uses the Anniversary Sale to show off their favorite goods for fall, marking them down 40% for a two-week period. The best pieces sell out – fast – and anything that’s left goes back up to full price on August 4! It’s a great time to stock up on basics that aren’t usually marked down (silk shirts, yoga pants, Hanky Panky thongs…), as well as loads of exclusive pieces from our favorite designers. All good things!

Thanks! I decided on the credit card. You taught us last year to buy now and filter later, and I’d rather float that on credit than on debit. Early access here I come!
