Happy Friday, friends! If you’re wondering what I’ve been up to, I managed a very neat trick last week involving a mandolin and two of my fingertips. Sadly, this particular variety of carnage doesn’t make typing (let alone photo layouts) an easy business. In fact, if I’m honest, I’m writing this post using one of those fancy dictation apps for my computer. Look out, Stephen Hawking.
Despite my temporary crippling, and without jumping onto my soapbox about the modern “friends & family” (which roughly translates to “anyone with access to Google”), I couldn’t let the day go by without sharing a few pretty fantastic F&F deals happening this weekend.
Equipment is one of my mostest favoritest spots for silk and cashmere (and really, what else is there in life?). Take 25% off sitewide with code EQFRIENDS (through 10.6). If it were me – hypothetically of course – I would stuff as many of those perfectly-oversized, never-pilled cashmere v-necks into my cart as humanly possible (all of their sweaters, in fact, are pretty divine). And, just for good measure, I would add a certain graphic print silk buttondown that I foolishly bought a few weeks ago at full price.
Diane von Furstenberg‘s F&F action is getting to be a pretty reliably seasonal affair, but that doesn’t make it any less lovely. I do so wish her wrap dresses were as universally flattering as she’s always led me to believe, but with the holidays hurtling toward us like the proverbial freight train, I am desperately seeking a new clutch, and I have yet to find one as classic and wallet-friendly as DVF’s 440 clutch. Now, if only I could decide between the ‘diamond dust’ and the studded leather. Use code FALL25 for the deal. (Also, I can’t help but give a shout-out to this chain-link print puffer vest, which is just about as chic as you’re ever likely to see one of these get.)
Last, but most certainly not least, code FRIENDLIEST will net you 25% off this weekend at Tory Burch. (Which, for the record, my dictation app knew how to properly spell. Technology is amazing.) 25% off will get you all manner of lovely things, but if it were me, I would consider it a sign that I needed a new dress for fall. This one, for instance, is pretty darn amazing even at its full price, but who would do a crazy thing like that? Even at 25% off it’s a splurge, but having a gorgeous dress in your arsenal for those days when you have no idea what to wear and everything in your closet makes you feel frumpy and sad, can be priceless.
Anything you’ve been anxiously pining for a sale price on so far this fall? Let me know in the comments, and I’ll keep an eye out!
