okay, it’s my turn to seek some ‘personal shopping’ help from my readers. are you up to the task?
i need a new pair of black flats. i want something casual – something i can throw on with jeans, that i won’t be (too) worried about scuffing up, but that still looks stylish. and they also have to be relatively comfortable, without going into the ‘athletic shoe lookalike’ realm.
here are a few i’ve found – i’d love to hear what you think, or see other suggestions you might have. but please, please, don’t show me unless they’re available in an 11….no need for torture!

I really love option 3. I think that 4 and 5, while cute, don’t steem sturdy enough – in the wear and tear sense and in the stylistic sense. Does that make any sense? Heh. Really, though, I love 3. I’m not a big fan of the loafer looking ones with the gold hardware (not sure if they’re 1 or 2) because I don’t think they’re as versatile as the others.
hmm, though carolyn likes option 2, i am a fan of the london soles. they’re just classic and timeless. another alternative could be sue london?
I LOVE option 3… oh wait, maybe it’s because I’m wearing them as we speak… could you find any for sale?
I don’t like option 1, the rest are lovely though. Think 3 would be my fave if I had to choose.
