the fabulous peeps over at shopbop were kind enough to send me a sneak peek of the trends they’re loving for spring ’09, and naturally, i had to share.
i have to admit, the crazy cutout platforms and the hippie-inspired styles are going to take some getting used to. but i’m definitely on board with the bright, exaggerated florals, and i love that those ladylike, sculptural styles from fall have taken a softer turn, but are still around. as for accessories, the more the merrier this spring…barrels of bangles, headbands, and clutches show no signs of disappearing.

I, for one, am always stoked when platforms are “in.” As a semi-shortie who wears them all the time regardless, it’s nice to just effortlessly slide into chicness. 😉
